Can you leave Haneda Airport during a layover?

Yes. Passport holders from the United States, Canada, UK, Singapore, and Australia can leave Haneda Airport during a layover without a visa. Please check the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for the latest visa requirements.

How long do I need for a Haneda layover tour?

We recommend at least 4 hours. With 4 to 6 hours you can visit Tsukiji, Shibuya, or Asakusa. With 7 or more hours you can explore 2 to 3 destinations comfortably. Tokyo Travel Assist offers fully customizable private layover tours to fit your schedule.
