Hiring a private guide was something my husband & I were unsure whether we needed or not. However, being during Golden Week and in a more remote area like Hakone we could NOT have made a better decision! Tony was informative, kind, efficient, and very hard working. Even with traffic we were able to hit 4 major attractions and have a delicious lunch and time for shopping. We felt more immersed in Japan’s culture by speaking to a local and seeing more off the beaten path and not only the tourist spots. We are so lucky to have met Tony and done this private tour!
