One of Japan's most lavishly decorated shrines
Nikko Tosho-gu is a shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu who established Edo Shouguntate. It was constructed in 1617 and further expanded by Tokugawa Iemitsu from 1634, the third shogun. Tokugawa Ieyasu’s remains are entombed here. It is Unesco World Heritage Site.
This tour covers Toshogu, chuzenji lake, kegon water fall, Iroha winding roards. Great nature and atmosphere exist the same as 400 years ago.
