Our guide Tony was knowledgeable and very nice. He knew all the best spots for visiting and observing Mt Fuji, some of which were hidden gems with hardly any other people. Beautiful walk through the woods, observation from a close-by mountain top, views across the surrounding lakes, and great commentary on Japanese culture. You should not miss this!

The next day Tony took us around Tokyo: fish market, Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples, sushi lunch, major landmarks. Perfect for a layover where time is limited.

Also, Tony was an extremely careful driver with an immaculate car to take us around. At our request he located a wonderful casual restaurant in Shinjuku for us that was a highlight of the trip.
