Hello, I’m Madoka Matsumura. Please call me “Maple”.
I’m a licensed English tour guide and I show people around Tokyo and other cities all over Japan. I love my job and meeting new people.
I have lived in Tokyo for almost my entire life, so I know not only popular tourist towns but also some secret places, nice photo spots, stylish cafes and great countryside.
I love sports especially skiing. I love watching Sumo, Baseball, and Rugby. In 2021, I worked for The Tokyo Organising Committee of Olympic and Paralympic Games to welcome soccer football players.
When I was young, I didn’t appreciate Japanese culture and I rather interested in foreign culture. However, many of my foreign friends told me how wonderful Japan is when they visit here. So gradually I realized that Japan has great lifestyle, food, scenery, art and people.
This is the reason why I decided to be an English tour guide and now I’m happy to introduce Japanese culture to my guests.
